This is Julian Alaphilippe's official book, written in collaboration with L'Equipe journalist Jean-Luc Gatellier.
A photographic book, with many unpublished images of racing and private life, which recounts the year lived between the two world triumphs of Imola 2020 and Louvain 2021 of one of the most important runners of the modern era.

Julian Alaphilippe was crowned world road cycling champion in Imola in 2020 and, a year later, in October 2021 in Leuven, Flanders. Only six riders in the history of cycling have been able to achieve the same feat. The French champion's palmarès can boast many other significant victories, but the feat of racing for two years in a row wearing the rainbow jersey has rightly placed him among the best contemporary cyclists. And above all those who excite the fans with their courageous unscrupulousness and their ability to achieve goals. In this book, Julian recounts his world championship year by writing about his successes and setbacks, his wife and the birth of his son, his family and teammates, his passions and his daily life as a man and champion .
