In the editorial office, closing the issue of #alvento33:
«We had already put Pogačar on the April cover, what do we do?»
Pause for reflection.
«If we had lived in the era of Eddy Merckx, or Fausto Coppi, we probably would have put them on the cover more than once. Indeed, we certainly would have done so."
Silence. Another pause for reflection.
"Yes, OK. Let's do it".
Tadej Pogačar is on the cover of alvento for the second time in a row and this means many things.
The number 33 brings with it a trail of memories of the recent Giro d'Italia and the cold spring that characterized the races. We chose an intimate, almost stolen photo, a tired face of a normal boy. We are not certain that it will be the last time we will put it there this year, there is no longer any certainty with this one, there could be updates in August, and who knows, maybe even in October.
