Avevamo previsto un altro numero.
Del resto, anche chi parte in bicicletta ha sempre un’idea di come andrà.
Poi qualcuno vince quando non doveva più vincere, qualcun altro perde ciò che sembrava già suo.
Si cambia strada, ci si aspetta, si riparte.
Alvento 47 è successo mentre facevamo altri programmi.

Alcuni contenuti:

• Prima del rosa. Afonso Eulálio, prima che la maglia del Giro cambiasse il modo in cui lo guardiamo.
• Un hombre sencillo. Una giornata in bicicletta con la leggenda Miguel Indurain.
• Il romanticismo ai tempi di Enric Mas. La storia di un corridore che molti avevano già deciso di chiamare incompiuto.
• Aux armes citoyens! A Les Gets, la gara di World Cup downhill che nessuno potrà dimenticare.
• Deludere le aspettative. Parti per un viaggio in bicicletta con un’idea di come andrà. Poi arriva la strada.
• Ultimate Flanders 525. Quattro giorni di bikepacking nelle Fiandre, per una volta senza pensare alle gare, oltre i muri che le hanno rese famose.
• Progettare il limite. Le persone e le idee dietro le biciclette Cervélo.
• Cinque gradi ad agosto. Bikepacking nella Norvegia centrale, dove l’estate ha altri programmi.

We had planned for a different number.

After all, anyone who sets off on a bicycle has some idea of how the day is going to unfold.

Then someone wins when they were never supposed to win again. Someone else loses what already seemed to belong to them.

Plans change. You wait. You turn around. You set off again.

Alvento 47 happened while we were busy making other plans.
