É stata una lunga giornata quella di domenica scorsa 29 settembre in collaborazione con Push Hard apparel + Science in Sport Italia + Nimex caffè

Sveglia alle 5:30 per far trovare i croissants appena sfornati in Sartoria Ciclistica, il profumo di burro e quello del caffè della nostra miscela Ghisallo Power sono un binomio perfetto di prima mattina per ricevere i nostri amici epici che dovranno affrontare una lunga pedalata con amici già conosciuti e altri nuovi. 

260 km e 2700mt di dislivello totali.

Abbiamo pedalato chiacchierando tanto e abbiamo visto tanti sorrisi, soprattutto all'arrivo in quel luogo magico e intimo, immerso nel verde, a due passi da Sankt Moritz, chiamato Lej Marsch (Lago Marcio). 

Si, il nome lascia molto a desiderare ma noi lo avremmo chiamato "Lago Magico", dopo quei primi 130 km e i 38 km del malojapass è stato come aver visto un oasi in mezzo al deserto.

Alex e Federica hanno accesso il fuoco in una delle zone barbecue riservate per l'arrivo dei partecipanti, preparato una zuppa di verdure sul fuoco (il manuale del piccolo boy-scout docet) e tagliato pane e salame come se non ci fosse un domani.

L'arrivo come da copione è stato piuttosto (notevolmente) frastagliato, gli ultimi sono riusciti a godersi per qualche minuto il panorama ed il pranzo prima di rientrare verso casa (sartoria ciclistica) .

Non contenti della fatica e delle calorie bruciate all'andata il ritorno prevede un forte vento contrario per i primi 13 km che mette a dura prova le gambe dopo la lunga sosta e poi... 38 km di amatissima discesa verso Chiavenna dove qualcuno si è imboscato per mangiare un dolce dal super "Mastai" (ottima pasticceria di Chiavenna che merita sempre una sosta) mentre altri si sono dileguati e hanno preso il primo treno utile per tornare a casa (non so se sia stato più epico il rientro in treno con il servizio pubblico o quello in bici fino a Como).

Dopo qualche minuto di sosta per ricompattare il gruppo è il nostro ex prof Mauro Santambrogio che si incarica di fare gruppetto e tenere un andatura fissa e adatta a tutti con la missione di rientrare a Como prima che faccia buio, missione compiuta per un pelo!

All'arrivo tanti sorrisi soddisfatti e felici di aver passato una domenica insieme, di aver conosciuto amici nuovi e aver creato nuove storie.

Ora è tempo di una birra.

It was a long day last Sunday, September 29th by PUSH HARD Apparel

Wake up at 5:30am for baking croissants in Sartoria Ciclistica, the smell of butter and coffee from our Ghisallo Power blend are a perfect combination in the early morning to receive our epic friends who will have to face a long ride.

260 km and 2700mt of total height difference.

We cycled and chatted a lot and we saw so many smiles, especially upon arrival in that magical and intimate place, surrounded by greenery, a stone's throw from Sankt Moritz, called Lej Marsch.

Yes, the name leaves a lot to be desired but we would have called it "Magical Lake", after those first 130 km and the 38 km of the malojapass it was like having seen an oasis in the middle of the desert.

Alex and Federica have access to the fire in one of the barbecue areas reserved for the arrival of the participants, prepared a vegetable soup on the fire (the manual of the little boy-scout docet) and cut bread and salami as if there were no tomorrow.

The arrival as expected was rather (notably) jagged, the last ones managed to enjoy the view and lunch for a few minutes before returning home (tailoring).

Not content with the fatigue and calories burned on the outward journey, the return foresees a strong headwind for the first 13 km which puts a strain on the legs after the long stop and then ... 38 km of much-loved descent towards Chiavenna where someone has ambush to eat a dessert from the super "Mastai" (excellent Chiavenna pastry that always deserves a break) while others have disappeared and have taken the first train useful to return home (I do not know if it was more epic the return by train with public service or bicycle service to Como).

After a few minutes of rest to consolidate the group, our former prof Mauro Santambrogio takes charge of making a small group and keeping a steady pace suitable for everyone with the mission of returning to Como before dark, a mission accomplished by a hair's breadth!

Upon arrival many smiles satisfied and happy to have spent a Sunday together, to have met new friends and to have created new stories.

Now it's time for a beer.
