There are a number of reasons why the period between May and June is special for all of us. The days are long, very long. Which means more hours in the saddle and less stress. It’s hot, but not excessively hot, it’s nice, a bit at all hours, even when the sun stings on your forearms. And then there’s the Giro d’Italia, the event that unites the country more than any other. It’s the beginning of summer, which smells of promise, of something beautiful that will come and that we’ve been waiting for for a long time. And we cyclists are all a bit of dreamers, so we like all this excessively. This is what #alvento39 is about
